The Natural Products Discovery Center at UF Scripps comprises the world’s largest natural products-focused collection of Actinobacteria and their curated draft genomes.
New capabilities of the NPDC with RefSeq
- AntiSMASH 8 Annotations for 25,000 Actinobacterial genomes are now available!
- Use these data to assess the novelty of a genome or BGC!
- RefSeq or GenBank accession numbers are now available and searchable under genomes, and included in BLAST results!
- Search by MIBiG natural product name under BGCs!
- Various bug fixes
The synergistic resources of the Actinobacterial Strain Collection and
the Genome Database enable both cutting-edge bioinformatics analysis
and
follow-up experimentation via physical access to strains.
